ABOUT

The works of Laurel Moore can be best described as hyper-realistic art, creating a new sense of reality. In her studio, she often paints a variety of Islamic art subjects, such as: portraits, figurative art, landscapes, cityscapes, culture and important personalities.

The pearls, Museum of Islamic Art, Golden Mosque or Arabic tea paintings are examples of that. She generally creates a place or scenario, into which tries to immerse her model or technic. Is it a dream or reality? The work expands gradually, bringing individual details together in order to create the final image.

''Its true that photography has given us so much, but painting can still open the door into new worlds. “I especially love to paint places that people love. Home is always somewhere special for us in our hearts, wherever that home is to us. I love to capture that nostalgia ... I hope to achieve incredible depths of emotion within my paintings. I'm honoured that my artwork is now collected all over the world.'' Laurel Moore.

Laurel Moore born in United Kingdom. She already exhibited in London, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Lisbon and Paris. She received B.Ed Hons with Art Specialism from Portsmouth University in 1988. In 2014, she was named “100 BEST ARTISTS WORLDWIDE” by The US “World Art Foundation”. As a curator and artist she was inaugurated an art exhibition supported by his Excellency Ali Saeed Bin Harmal Al Dhaheri. Her work has been featured in: Time Out Abu Dhabi, Gulf News Magazine Front Cover (with Jalal Luqman), The Khalija Times, Ahlan Magazine, Lifestyle Magazine, Tempo Magazine and more.
