Although Netherlands was Michal's home before 1940, it was Israel a country where the artist found the inspiration and beginning of a new phase in her artistic journey.
Contact with Abstract Expressionist painters in Haifa University caused her to develop a bolder style and colored canvases. In 1990 became a member of Israeli Association of Painters and Sculptors.
"My work is the result of imagination and nature. The style is minimalistic, abstract-figurative and has sometimes a touch of surrealism. Although the colours and the contrasts are strong , there is still a harmonic oneness."
