Ragnhild Engelsen Veim is an artist who explores the inner, intellectual, social, emotional, and relational processes of human beings delves into the complexities of the human experience, using their artistic expression as a medium to navigate the intricacies of the human psyche and society. Ragnhild delves into the introspective realm, examining the depths of individual consciousness. This could involve exploring personal thoughts, dreams, fears, and desires. The artwork becomes a mirror reflecting the artist's internal landscape and inviting viewers to contemplate their own inner worlds. The Norwegian artist Edvard Munch was also known for his art delves into themes the complexities of the human psyche.
Ragnhild creates a multidimensional narrative that speaks to the holistic nature of the human experience. Her artworks becomes a reflective space where viewers can engage with the intellectual, emotional, and social dimensions of humanity. Ultimately, the goal is to offer viewers a profound and thought-provoking experience that resonates with the various facets of being human. Ragnhild Engelsen Veim was born in Bergen, Norway in 1994 where she still lives and practices her artistic endeavours. She has been dedicating her focus on watercolour as a painting medium since 2015. In addition to developing her visual universe she writes, arranges and performs her own music.
