Geneva, Switzerland – 1/01/25 – During the 2026 edition of the Geneva Art Fair, an ambitious parallel exhibition will take place:
The project will feature a diverse group of international and emerging artists whose works span painting, sculpture, installation, and performance. Each contribution explores red as more than a visual element — embracing it as a universal language of passion, resistance, vitality, and transformation.
Highlights of the Red Art Project 2026 include:
A curated selection of artworks from both established and emerging voices in the global art scene.
Special performances and installations engaging directly with the public.
A program designed to complement and expand the dialogue of the Geneva Art Fair, offering visitors an alternative and thematic lens through which to experience art in the city.
“Red has always carried an intensity that is at once personal and political,” said Francisco Lacerda, curator of the Red Art Project 2026. “This exhibition seeks to gather artists who are reimagining the many dimensions of this color, and to present these works alongside Geneva’s most important art event.”
