Philippe Thuriet

He naturally creates a geometry on the different media he uses to calculate each proportion of his artworks. His passion for the Arts and his versatility allow him to use different materials and develop various creative techniques, thus pushing him to periodically explore other artistic styles such as the cubist movement.

"Painting is letting your soul speak" according to him, that he expresses and realizes for over thirty years in his universe called "My surreal soul". His creations develop in phases and states, between his conscious and his subconscious. Consciously, he begins to draw his creatures with a pencil on the canvas until he takes over his paintbrushes. There, the magic happens… He is the matter, the tubes of paint his body envelope. He becomes the paintbrush of his soul. He perceives, captures his creatures and makes them evolve as much as they make him evolve.

Why do they exist? Why are they there? Are they already us now or will we become “them” after our passage on this Earth?

They invite us to question ourselves about who we are internally… and even meditate.

What past, what future awaits us? Are we active or passive? Spectators or actors of our Life?

His desire to share and present his vision of a world or our future led him to exhibit in France before being launched into an international career.
