Marc Sarkis Gulbenkian carries a surname inextricably linked to the history of art and philanthropy in Portugal. A grand-nephew of the art collector and tycoon Calouste Gulbenkian, Marc grew up in a deeply stimulating aesthetic and cultural environment, shaped by the memories of the Armenian Diaspora. However, he carved out an independent path, forging a distinctly unique contemporary artistic identity. For over a decade, the artist has regularly showcased his work on Portuguese soil, participating in solo and group exhibitions in contemporary art galleries, cultural centers, and art fairs across the country. In addition, he maintains an active role in preserving the memory of the Armenian community.
